Project Description

807 E. 12th St – Stanford Wholesale Mart – Phase I

In 2005, the Zackary Brothers, in partnership with Action Investment Group, began development of a 60,000 square foot tract of land in downtown Los Angeles.  The precise location was at 807 E. 12th Street, which was in the Fashion District but east of San Pedro Street.   Prior to the commencement of construction, the Zackary Brothers had carefully analyzed emerging trends in the Los Angeles garment and textile industry, and had concluded that the industry was moving east of San Pedro Street, away from the Fashion District’s historic locale in Santee Alley.

Completed in 2008, Stanford Wholesale Mart – Phase I is a 200,000 square foot, 109-unit building, with open air sky mall, a food court and an onsite bank.  Stanford Wholesale Mart – Phase I has brilliantly realized the Zackary Brothers’ vision of a one-stop shop for wholesale buyers of women’s contemporary fashions located in the Fashion District in downtown Los Angeles.
