Abraham Zackary is a senior officer of Paramount Textiles, one of the Zackary Brothers Group of Companies. Abraham also serves as a senior officer or managing member in several of the Zackary Brothers’ real estate companies. Abraham offers strategic vision, common sense, and a business philosophy derived from his study of the Torah, which he also applies on a personal level to the partners and personnel in the Zackary Brothers Group of Companies.
Born in Iran, Abraham moved to Los Angeles, California, as a child, where he would eventually attend Beverly Hills High School and Santa Monica College. Shortly after graduating from high school, Abraham discovered orthodox Judaism and became a fully Chabad-Lubavitcher Chassid (a branch of Chassidic-Orthodox Judaism). In 1997, Abraham moved to New Jersey in order to attend the Rabbinical College of America, where he would graduate in 2000 with a double BA in Jewish Philosophy and Talmudic Studies.
After graduating from Rabbinical school, Abraham entered the family textile business and became an officer and director of Paramount Textiles, Inc., a role he has held continuously ever since. Abraham originally managed the company’s Manhattan office, before moving back to Los Angeles in 2003. In his role as a senior officer and director of Paramount Textiles, Abraham is active in the sales, accounts receivable, merchandising and human resources divisions of the company.
Since 2005, Abraham has become more involved in the real estate investment and development activities of the Zackary Brothers Group of Companies. In that role, Abraham often serves alongside his brother Shawn Zackary and regularly analyzes potential deals and advises on long-term company strategy.
